Engineering Internship

The global FE team supports our client partners with comprehensive design, system engineering, material and process know-how in the field of technical and fiber-reinforced polymers, functional lightweight construction and CAE-supported multi-material design optimization. Tasks

In your work as an intern/working student you will get detailed insights and experiences in engineering & consulting projects together with our industry clients and technology partners. You will support our team with following tasks:

- Supporting the methodical concept and product development for lightweight structures with a focus on composites and technical polymers
- Participation in the area of 3D printing, planning and execution of print jobs in filament printing
- Material and process evaluation, global material
- and technology scouting
- Calculation of manufacturing costs and accompanying cost engineering
- Close cooperation and coordination with the project team involved, the respective technology partners, institutes and suppliers worldwide
- Support on internal and external projects
- Presentation of the project results in the project team

**Requirements**:

- Passionate about Sustainability, Electrification and Future Mobility
- You study (Dipl.Ing., M. Sc., M. Eng.) mechanical
- or industrial engineering specializing in product development, vehicle design, aerospace, plastics technology/ composites or a comparable qualification.
- Industrial experience in the areas of structural design & manufacturing, composites and/or plastics technology is an advantage
- Goal
- and solution-oriented with strong communication skills and know how to motivate your project team
- Fluent in English and German
- Flexibility and willingness to work in international projects
- Experienced and comfortable with discussing and presenting your ideas and project results with the project team
