You will get to know all areas of the kitchen and gradually become a pro in all the tasks of a chef: - Preparation and cooking of dishes in various kitchen areas (appetizers, main courses, desserts). - Receiving, inspecting, and proper storage of food products. - Learning and adhering to hygiene standards (HACCP) and safety regulations. - Supporting the planning of menus and food offerings. - Plating and presenting dishes for guests. - Handling kitchen equipment and professional materials. - Collaborating with the kitchen team and supporting other colleagues. - Participating in internal training sessions and meetings for further education. - Assisting with special events and buffets. **What we expect from you**: - You have a charming, authentic demeanor, a well-groomed appearance, and clear communication skills. - You have completed your schooling. - Good knowledge of German and English is a given for you. - Initial experience in gastronomy, hospitality, or service through internships or part-time jobs is a plus. - You are a true team player and love working in a team. - Creativity and a passion for hospitality come naturally to you. - Marriott International is an equal opportunity employer.
