**About the position**:
Klang is looking for a **Monetization/Economy Designer (f/m/d)** passionate about player-driven worlds and economies, looking to join a world-class team to bring an ambitious, yet carefully calculated vision to life. In this role, you will, together with the Analytics team, gain insights from granular player data and collaborate with Design and Engineering to find the best monetization solutions and create a strong player-first value system.

**What you will do**:

- Collaborate with the vision holders on this core pillar of SEED
- Be the day-to-day contact for all internal teams when it comes to building monetization features and maintaining the game economy
- Design sustainable monetization systems in line with SEED’s vision and work with the development team to integrate them into the core gameplay features
- Evangelize a holistic monetization strategy to improve retention, optimize in-game revenue and lifetime value, keeping player agency at the core
- Keep up-to-date on emerging monetization trends to collect and develop monetization best practices, from gaming and beyond
- Together with the Analytics team, act in the day-to-day monitoring and analyzing economic, engagement, and monetization data to optimize existing solutions
- Analyze gameplay mechanics to identify opportunities that will have a positive impact on monetization

**Who we think will be a great fit**:

- Bachelor degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or another quantitative field
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience building game features and economies, with an emphasis on designing and tuning features that engage players and encourage monetization
- Experience manipulating, summarizing, and analyzing large data sets
- Extremely robust logical and analytical thinking; able to abstract and decompose complex systems and identify key relationships and levers that influence the outputs
- Able to model problems into quantitative systems, anticipate downstream effects, and draw actionable conclusions
- Expertise in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau)
- Excellent communication/presentation skills - ability to work closely with departmental managers and with senior staff
- A passion for online communities and virtual worlds
