Position Description:
You will be part of our Department of Customer Project Management. As Team Lead of the Solution Engineers you manage the team and represent them to all stakeholders. You are part of the CPM Management Team and contribute to our internal projects and initiatives. As a Solution Engineer with strong core technical skills, you are responsible for winning new business by actively driving and managing the technical presales with existing and new potential customers. You will also support and advise project leaders during complex change requests. You act as the technical expert and transfer Cinemo product knowledge to customers in presales. You collaborate closely with the Sales, Portfolio Management, Software Engineering and Cloud DevOps departments and customer technical staff to ensure best positioning of Cinemo’s portfolio in customers’ projects.This role requires an energetic and motivated individual who works well in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Tasks
As Team Leader:
- Manage the team and be the first escalation point
- Participate in the recruitment of team members
- Coach the team on best practices and problem solving
- Ensure that Cinemo processes are followed
- Contribute to improving our processes in the department
As Solution Engineer:
- Provide architectural guidance for the customers about Cinemo’s product portfolio
- Translate customer use cases into Cinemo features, anticipate customer technical needs
- Provide technical documentation, datasheets and answer technical questions for specific products
- Act as interface between the Sales, Portfolio Management and the SW Engineering team for requirements of new features
- Build and manage Proofs of Concept
- Manage the handover to project support after contract signature
- Contribute to RFI-s, RFQ-s and Q&A sheets by driving the delivery of content for the technical part
- Drive the preparation and support the negotiation of Statements of Work
**Requirements**:
- Understanding of software engineering processes with complex technical issues
- Significant experience in a pre-sales solution engineering role, ideally in the automotive industry
- Significant line management experience in a technical environment
- Very good knowledge of some programming languages (C /C++ is an advantage)
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to work under mínimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for efficient collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and for managing the team members
- Well-organised with high attention to detail
- Interest in next-generation multimedia
- Proficiency in English
- Experience with online services is a plus
