Our solution suite helps global leaders such as Siemens, BCD, Lufthansa, Airbnb, and DB Schenker accurately measure and act on their emissions.
YOUR ROLE
Are you passionate about accelerating the decarbonization of business travel? Do you love operating in a high performance environment creating real world impact?
We are looking for an Operations Intern to help us with our day to day tasks and support scaling our internal operations. In addition to collaborating closely with our Carbon Solutions & Procurement (CS&P) department, you will also work with different functions in the company like Finance, Partnerships, C-Level etc. supporting ad hoc tasks and projects.
The Carbon Solutions & Procurement team is responsible for sourcing, managing, selling and retiring carbon credits for SQUAKE and works with suppliers all around the world.
Tasks
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Work with CS&P on building supply processes and executing daily operations
- Research and perform quality evaluation of 3rd party vendors and services
- Conduct research and analysis to inform strategic decisions (e.g. competitor benchmarking, customer segmentation, business model validation)
- Support ad hoc strategic and operational tasks with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail
- Work with operational tools (Excel, Powerpoint, Notion, Salesforce) to execute day to day tasks
- Help structure internal processes to support our growth (e.g. documentation, meeting cadences, internal reporting)

**Requirements**:
**REQUIREMENTS**:

- You possess excellent analytical skills and are comfortable with numbers.
- You have a very strong attention to detail and work through problems meticulously
- You thrive on ownership, are goal-oriented, and ready for both creative and mundane tasks
- You are proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and Powerpoint. Prior experience working with ERP tools / data is a plus
- You have a Bachelor's degree (Masters is a plus)
- You speak English fluently and are comfortable with German
- You are available for a 6-12 month internship with a possibility for further development
- You are highly interested in sustainability and want to be associated with climate action
