Job Overview

Are you interested in financial markets? Do you follow the latest trends and developments in the area of indexing and exchange-traded funds (ETFs)? Are you thrilled to create market-leading flagship indices such as the Solactive Global Benchmark Series for our broad client base? When facing business challenges, do you act solution-oriented and reliable? Are you eager to translate investment ideas into new products and services? Your Tasks
- Expanding the index offering of core Solactive equity benchmarks
- Developing custom index strategies in cooperation with our reputable, global client base
- Calculating historical performance simulations (back-testing) for new investment strategies
- Drafting index guidelines and supporting documents/analysis
- Setting up indices for calculation and publication via data vendors
- Coordinating internal processes with our operations, sales and marketing teams for a successful launch

Your Profile
- Academic degree in Economics, (quantitative) Finance, Business Engineering or similar
- Affinity for capital markets
- High proficiency level in Microsoft Excel/VBA is essential
- Further proven Python programming skills are desired
- Several years of practical experience in the index business or a comparable field
- Experience with data vendor terminals is a plus (e.g. FactSet, Reuters or Bloomberg)
- Highly motivated to work independently, and complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner
- Focused on top-quality service
- Self-confidence and team spirit
- Intercultural competence and excellent communication skills
