Engineering Lead E2e System Verification

**Your Mission**:
As Engineering Lead for in-car infotainment in the System Verification Team you will:

- Be a team lead: Be responsible for professional development of test engineers and for hiring
- Lead, develop and empower a team of test engineers in the System Verification Team for in-car Infotainment
- Remove the most important obstacles, make sure that your team is able to work
- Collaborate and coordinate with project stakeholders, external partners, other engineering leads and multiple feature development teams
- Contribute to the evaluation of the project from a verification and delivery point of view
- Make sure to provide the last and best system quality estimation before its release to Mercedes
- Provide guidance and concrete support for your teams w.r.t verification topics like test strategy, test efficiency, test effectiveness
- Contribute to daily system verification activities

**Your Profile**:
**Education**:

- Successfully completed studies with a focus on electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics or comparable

**Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years experience as team lead / line management
- Minimum 3 years of software verification / testing experience
- Minimum 2 years of software development experience (e.g. Java, Python, C++, CI/CD, end-to-end testing, etc.)

**Experience (is-a-plus)**:

- Software development using agile methods
- Work in safety-critical system engineering projects / automotive domain
- Knowledge and working experience in the field of diagnostics, communication protocols, measurement techniques etc.
- Experience in test automation approaches (e.g. model-based, keyword-driven)
- Develop or improve verification strategies & develop or improve delivery standards or quality standards
- International/intercultural work experience
