At Entrix, automation is at the heart of our culture, and you will be empowered to leverage cutting-edge tools and technology to streamline operations and maximize impactCore Responsibilities:Financial Planning & Analysis:Actuals: support in the implementation of our FP&A system (Abacum), and eventually be co-responsible for the Actuals reporting & variance analysis, including insights and proposals for corrective actions.Financial Planning & Analysis:Forecasts: financial modeling on our FP&A platform. This includes provision of inputs across departments through regular and ad-hoc business partnering.New Countries Set-Up:Support in the creation of new entities, the adoption of ERP systems, and the integration with our “single-source-of-truth database”AP/AR Oversight:Support on accounts payable/receivable internally and externally. Ensure payments are executed correctly and timely. Be the go-to person regarding escrow accounts, collaterals, and client reporting topicsPayment / Invoice & Accrual Automation:Co-lead projects relating to full automation of internal finance tasksFundraising:Help the finance team in preparatory tasks relating to future fundraising initiativesOperational Finance: Share responsibility with other team members on invoice management, payments, T&E management, or other tasks, as they arise.Admin Support: Work closely with the founder’s associate, the finance operations team, or other departments on ad-hoc projects; examples include bank-accounts opening, KYC documentation, public grants applicationsYour ProfileMandatory Requirements4+ years of experience in Finance, ideally in a high-growth fast paced environmentDegree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related quantitative field from a leading institution (Master’s degree and/or CFA preferred)Proven track record of strategic financial thinking and autonomous working styleBusiness proficiency (C2) in English; German (B2+) would be beneficialSkills to Set You ApartExperience in high-growth startups or scale-ups with concrete examples of having to “wear multiple hats”Hands-on experience leading complex finance set-ups, with JVs, Subsidiaries abroad, and rather complex transactions (for example, negative prices on commodities etc)Strong understanding of FP&A processes and its success factorsInitiatives relating to process automation through adoption of digital toolsOwnership and accountability for end-to-end finance processes and projectsThis role may not be a fit for you if…You do not have any kind of Business Background (studies or work experience).You are not passionate about energy markets and their complexitiesYou are uncomfortable working with ambiguity, rapid experimentation, and evolving prioritiesAt Entrix, we are committed to diversity - of all backgrounds and experiences.
