We are currently seeking for our Headquarter in Hamburg a highly motivated and dedicatedSenior Expert Accounting Standards IFRS (all genders)Full time and permanentResponsibilities:Participation in the external reporting process, ensuring compliance of Evotec Group Financial Statements (Notes and Management report) with IFRS and DRS/HGB, and additional regulator’s requirementsMonitor accounting and regulations updates according to IFRS and DRS/HGB for Group Financial StatementsLead Projects to implement new standards and regulations according to IFRS and DRS/HGB with effect on Group Financial StatementsAnalysis of technical and complex accounting topics, complex transactions, and contracts, e.g. revenue recognitionPreparation and update of the Group’s Accounting PoliciesMonitoring and enforcement of the Policies within the GroupAnswer technical accounting questions to various stakeholdersProvide IFRS trainings to Global AccountingRequired Qualifications:Successful university degree (or equivalent) in business administration, advanced studies in international accounting, group accounting or auditingMinimum 5 years of experience in an IFRS context (Big four) and excellent knowledge of IFRSProactive mindset with a passion to build from scratch and drive continuous improvementAbility to interact with various stakeholders, breakdown complex accounting issues, explain and present them to managementFluent in English and German with excellent verbal and written communication skillsFurther ideal qualifications:Experience in Technical Accounting department of a Listed CompanyExperience in project managementExperience of working in an international environment, ideally in Pharma/BiotechOur offer:A permanent position within a vigorous and exciting professional environment promoted by an open culture, a spirit of community and continuous improvementA diverse, international workforce with a dynamic working environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and teamwork30 days annual holiday, monthly allowance for public transportation, and in-house canteenCapital forming benefits, flexible working hours, holiday pay, and annual bonus depending on performanceTo apply, please click on the “Apply” button and provide your application documents (CV and cover letter, including earliest possible start date and salary requirements).
