In this role, you will lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers working with our external suppliers to develop tailor-made electronic units for satellite applications, often pushing the boundaries of technical feasibility. Your Tasks Take technical ownership of electronic unit suppliers for satellite missionsDefine and manage requirements, including verification planning and trackingEvaluate and negotiate technical changes in coordination with stakeholdersReview supplier documentation and lead technical reviews with subcontractorsMonitor and control key technical budgets ( power consumption, data rates, memory allocation, discrete interfaces)Coordinate and harmonize electrical interfaces across subsystems and unitsProvide technical support to suppliers in the design, simulation, and analysis of electronics for space applications Your QualificationsMaster’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related fieldProfessional experience in electronics development for the space industrySolid understanding of satellite subsystems, including power distribution and thermal controlFamiliarity with communication protocols and data-handling interfaces used in satellites (, SpaceWire, MIL-STD-1553, SpaceFibre)Knowledge of relevant standards such as ECSS and MILStrong communication skills and proficiency in English, both written and spokenNice to have: Programming skills in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, or similar languagesExperience with requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS We offer Work Life Balance: Flexible working hours, sabbatical, 30 days vacation & special leave days Mobile Work: Hybrid work & mobile work abroad Structured on-boarding process (incl.
