Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by leading innovation and developing new product designs that speak to the customer. The team you will be working with is collaborative, and values positive challenging environment.As a Senior Advanced Development Engineer, you will:Lead the innovation and new business development efforts to design, prototype, and validate new product design solutions in support of customer and internal core team timing requirements.Establish, maintain, and develop regular contact with internal and external customers, suppliers, innovative companies, and research institutes on all relevant topics in accordance with LPA strategy and product roadmaps.Scout and assess new technologies relevant to LPA strategy and product roadmaps.Establish and maintain adequate records of technical information, process methods / standards, design and program information, and records to support/procure reliable patent actions.Ensure all innovations are reviewed for best practice from a design for assembly and design for ergonomics perspective to ensure competitiveness. To be successful, you'll need:Bachelor’s degree in software or electrical engineering, or equivalentEmbedded software development, model-based software development for mechatronic applicationsC/C++ programmingFamiliar with latest software development processes and toolsExperience in AI or app development is an advantageMinimum 5 years’ experience in relevant fieldExperienced with product development in the automotive industry or start-upsProven history of idea generation and implementationCreative and open-minded, out-of-the-box thinkingHands-on mentality, self-motivatedGood communication and presentation skillsGood problem solving and business development skillsAbility to work with cross-functional teams in an international environmentWhat to Do NextNow that you’ve had a chance to learn more about us, what are you waiting for Apply today and allow us the opportunity to learn more about you and the value you can bring to our team.
