The role focuses on research, data analysis, modeling, and simulation to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and robustness of algorithms for electrical battery systems.Your mission Contribute to the development, testing, and validation of advanced battery algorithms, with a focus on state estimation (SoC/SoH) and degradation modeling Support the modeling of battery behavior using equivalent circuit models (ECMs), physics-based electrochemical models, and/or grey-box approaches. Analyze experimental and field data to enhance the accuracy and robustness of developed models and algorithms. Implement, simulate, and validate algorithms in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or equivalent environments. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate progress and findings effectively. Collaborate closely with researchers and engineers to ensure timely achievement of project milestones and deliverables. Your areas of expertise Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Energy Systems, Battery Technology, or a related field. Strong background in electrochemistry, battery systems, or energy storage technologies. Knowledge of battery modeling, SoC/SoH estimation techniques, and degradation mechanisms. Experience with artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning techniques, preferably applied to energy storage, modeling, or control systems. Proficiency in the following: MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or similar simulation tools with working experience in Linux systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to process large datasets and derive actionable insights.
