Let’s make it happenWe are looking for a Paralegal to support our German Country Team and work closely with our Head of Germany Ecommerce, our Legal Team, and external law firms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, international scale-up environment and wants to grow their career in commercial, competition, and advertising law.What you´ll do:Work independently and as part of the German Country Team, collaborating closely with the Head of Germany Ecommerce, the Legal Team, and external lawyersAct as the first legal contact for the business in Germany, advising on commercial law, competition law, advertising law, dispute resolution, legal operations, and entity managementPrepare, review, and organize legal documents, including contracts and court filingsSupport the management of external legal advisors, ensuring timelines, documentation, and communication are well handledMonitor EU and German legal and regulatory developments and translate relevant updates into clear guidance for the businessPrepare and deliver short internal trainings on legal topics for teams such as Procurement, Supply Chain, and MarketingConduct legal research, document findings, and contribute to internal knowledge management systemsMaintain legal records and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirementsWho we´re looking for:Degree in Law or Business Law (Wirtschaftsjurist/in) and at least 1 year of relevant work experienceStrong understanding of the German legal systemExperience or strong interest in competition law, advertising law, commercial law, or dispute resolutionExcellent legal research skills and the ability to break down complex information clearlyConfident in drafting and reviewing legal documentsHighly organized, structured, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong communication skills with both internal stakeholders and external legal partnersComfortable using Microsoft Office and familiar with legal tech tools such as Jira, Luminance, or similar platformsA team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environmentFluent in German with strong English communication skillsWhat we offer:A role with real impact and ownership from day one A hybrid home office policy that allows you to determinewhich 22 days per quarter you work from home A steep learning curve and the opportunity to grow within a global legal and compliance team A dynamic, international environment with smart, supportive colleagues Hybrid work setup with flexibility and autonomy Regular team events, learning opportunities, language development opportunities, and a culture that values bold thinking And of course: an amazing sleep setup with our Emma products Become an EmmieEmma is transforming the world of sleep - and we want the highest-performing people to help us pull it off.
