As the Communications Manager (DACH), you will play a key role in increasing brand awareness and consideration both b2c and b2b through PR, influencer marketing, and social media. Your focus will be on driving high-funnel engagement, landing cut-through brand activities and growing  Treatwell's brand presence in the German-speaking markets

Your Role & Responsibilities

PR & Media Relations

  • Develop and execute press and social relations strategies to drive brand awareness and trust, grow DA and build on Treatwell's brand positioning as the leading authority and KOL of the beauty booking industry.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key journalists and media outlets in beauty, lifestyle, trade and business  - using our data to build a network.
  • Secure expert commentary and thought leadership press coverage in key publications.
  • Monitor media trends, identify reactive pitching opportunities and analyse PR performance.
  • Report monthly and quarterly on PR coverage and performance of secured backlinks against KPIs.

Social Media & Community Engagement

  • Develop a social media strategy for our local B2B account and B2C account, to grow Treatwell DE's online SOV, growing brand awareness and driving brand trust.
  • Create engaging, shareable, interactive content tailored to the local audience.
  • Drive community engagement interaction and growth across Treatwell's DACH social platforms.
  • Track social media account performance, optimising for organic engagement and growth.
  • Oversee local content creation and generation strategy.

Influencer Marketing & Partnerships

  • Identify and collaborate with beauty/lifestyle influencers and key opinion leaders in the industry
  • Develop and manage influencer campaigns to drive brand credibility and reach.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with top performing influencers to produce high-quality UGC and newbie driving  content.
  • Build strategic partnerships with key industry players and thought leaders.

Brand Activations & Events

  • Plan and execute PR & influencer events to support local & global brand campaigns, partnerships and supply acquisition goals.
  • Support Treatwell's presence at industry events and trade shows.

Requirements


Experience in PR, communications, or brand marketing, preferably in beauty, lifestyle, or tech.
Established media network and ability to secure press coverage. Existing contacts and strong relationships with the media is essential for this role. Previous experience landing media coverage is mandatory.
Deep understanding of social media platforms, landscape and tactics  in addition to experience with influencer marketing.
Exceptional storytelling, copywriting, editing and communication skills in both German (native) and English (fluent).
Proactive and creative mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
