Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance, enhance security measures, and implement best practices.Your tasks:Plan, architect, formulate designs and continually enhance Network & Edge security technologies (, micro-segmentation, zero-trust, access, security mechanisms, third-party access, SLA, backup, monitoring, etc.).Offer tools and technology to facilitate the effective operation of the Network Edge security framework, such as SD-WAN, SWG, CASB, FWaaS, Intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), etc.Design and implement system hardening to minimize security risks and vulnerabilities.Develop and implement a comprehensive patch management strategy to ensure systems are up to date with the latest security patches.Develop, maintain, and update Firewall Management Process and Policies.Oversee intrusion detection and prevention systems to proactively identify and mitigate threats.Develop and maintain a comprehensive backup/redundant plan for different data storages, systemsYour Impact:The role oversees current tools and technologies being leveraged within the network security infrastructure and provides strategic guidance to continuously to enhance the infrastructure and network security of METRO AG.
