WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Development and management of the “Network Services” department
- Responsibility for network services with a focus on DC-LAN, LAN, WAN, security services in an international environment
- Optimization and harmonization of IT services, taking into account new technologies and trends
- Collaboration with other service and process managers to ensure the smooth running of services and IT processes
- Ensuring the transfer of know-how from the current service provider
- Taking over operations from the current external service provider and responsibility for independent internal continuation
- International coordination of topics, integration and technical management of the teams in the foreign locations (matrix organization)
- Standardization and harmonization of network services
- Responsible for the implementation and support of network projects
- Close coordination and cooperation with the other divisions of Rheinmetall IT Solutions GmbH
- Coordination of external service providers

**The position can be filled at the locations Berlin, Düsseldorf, Kassel, Kiel, Unterlüß, Bremen and Neuenstadt or remotely if necessary.**

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Completed studies with a focus on information technology or business administration or comparable training
- Many years of professional experience in the field of IT operations / network operations and/or in comparable areas of responsibility
- Several years of professional and disciplinary management of teams
- Experience in managing external service providers
- Methodical knowledge and ideally certification in project management and ITIL
- Ability to work under pressure and willingness to go the extra mile
- Enjoy the task of taking employees (M/F/d) along in the transformation and developing them further
- Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills in German and English
- Willingness to travel to other locations
