About the role: You will play a crucial role in realizing end-to-end continuous improvement within Synthomer’s Adhesives Solutions division, focusing on the areas of Manufacturing, Quality, and Maintenance. You will also work with disciplines such as Commercial, Innovation, Marketing, Procurement, and Supply Chain. You will support the successful delivery of the Synthomer Excellence (SynEx) methodologies and contribute to improvements in speed, cost, quality and engagement across the business organization. You will support Synthomer’s strategic objectives and improve functional performance across the business. You will guide the improvement by developing and delivering the SynEx Continuous Improvement methodologies and provide coaching and mentorship to the broader Synthomer community. You will report to the Synthomer Excellence Program Deployment Director. The location is home-based with travel requirements to the Adhesives sites, primarily Germany and the Netherlands.Key Responsibilities:Lead and deliver 2-3 key improvement projects annually with a focus on production, quality and maintenance dimensions.Work with divisional commercial leaders to define areas of improvement and align with Synthomer’s “True North” metrics (speed, cost, quality, engagement).Provide excellent support directly to manufacturing and commercial organizations, cross-functionally with supply chain, procurement, legal, HR, innovation, marketing, focused on process optimization and continuous improvement.Communicate progress and successes to key stakeholders, ensuring improvements are visible across the organization.Support and contribute to wider business efforts, working with colleagues in other functions to drive business-wide transformation.About you: You have a technical university degree and are a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. You have proven project performance, preferably within a production environment. You have experience in leading broadly based projects using Lean Six Sigma or other Continuous Improvement tools, including change management.You have proven communication skills, insight into stakeholder management and the ability to lead multidimensional teams. You are strong in data analysis, including statistical tools. Good knowledge of English is required.
