Scientist for Coherent X-ray Scattering and Imaging

**The position**:

- Further development of hard X-ray coherent scattering and imaging techniques at MID
- Contribution to the in-house research programs
- Collaboration with external partners and local contact duties at MID for user experiments
- Participation in design and commissioning of project relevant instrumentation and tools

**Requirements**:

- PhD degree in physics, materials science, physical chemistry or equivalent
- Knowledge of X-ray scattering and imaging, coherent X-ray diffraction imaging, or X-ray holography is required
- Previous experience with XFEL radiation and femtosecond optical lasers are assets
