What you bring • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong track record of delivering complex, scalable systems.• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.• Expert-level proficiency in Java, including experience building high-performance, production-grade systems.• Proficiency in JavaScript and Python, with practical experience applying AI/ML technologies in real-world scenarios.• Strong experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, and a solid understanding of containerized and cloud-native development.• Deep understanding of microservices architectures, including API design, distributed systems fundamentals, testing strategies, observability, and performance optimization.• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong communication in English (German is a plus).• Ability to collaborate effectively across global, distributed teams (Bangalore, Sofia, Walldorf).
