Senior Manager Cloud Platform and Workplace

Through our products and the need for less packaging materials we reduce the carbon footprint.„The future is circular“Key responsibilities: Cloud Ownership – Lead the company’s Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, ensuring stability, scalability, security, and best-practice cloud architecture.Engineering & Migration – Drive cloud engineering activities and oversee migration of on-prem workloads to Azure with focus on automation and cost optimization.Governance & Compliance – Define and implement governance, security, and compliance frameworks across M365 and Azure environments.Workplace Operations – Ensure stable, compliant, and efficient provisioning and operation of workplace equipment.Team Leadership – Build and develop an internal IT cloud team with strong focus on engineering excellence, automation, and continuous improvement.Technical Mentorship – Provide both strategic guidance and hands-on technical leadership to support team growth.Vendor Management – Select, onboard, and manage external service partners with SLA- and KPI-driven performance oversight.Policy & Standards – Develop and enforce guidelines, policies, and technical standards for cloud usage aligned with organizational and regulatory requirements.Cost Governance – Establish cost management frameworks to optimize and control Azure spend.Innovation & Automation – Evaluate new Microsoft capabilities and drive automation initiatives (IaC, CI/CD) to enable modern, scalable cloud operations.We expect: Education – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Cloud Leadership – Extensive IT background with several years in cloud-focused leadership roles.Azure & M365 Expertise – Proven hands-on experience managing enterprise Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.Technical Skills – Deep knowledge of Azure services, Entra ID, automation scripting (PowerShell/Python), and Infrastructure as Code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform).Cloud Migration – Demonstrated experience leading large-scale Azure and M365 migration projects.Team Leadership – Strong capability in building, mentoring, and developing cloud engineering teams.Vendor & Stakeholder Management – Skilled in managing partners, SLAs, and communicating effectively with technical and business stakeholders.Language Skills – Fluent in English and German; Spanish is a strong plus.We offer:Make a difference where it matters – Play a key role in a sustainable and future-proof industry.A culture of appreciation and respect – Join an international team where collaboration thrives.
