You will be part of an engaged group driven by people’s competence and motivation to help and support our customers through consistent delivery of high-quality services.The Approval Centre Europe (M-SA) within Maritime Ship Classification consists of six production departments, located across three different locations (Gdynia, Hamburg and Oslo (Høvik)). We are international and Cross-location team with colleagues working in Oslo and Hamburg.As an approval engineer in our section, you will become part of a highly qualified team focusing on machinery systems like 2- and 4- stroke engines, turbochargers, fuel cells and pressure vessels. We are responsible for approval of ship systems against DNV classification rules and international regulations (IGF- code). Our section is working closely together with manufacturers. Furthermore, contact with yards, design offices and ship manager are particularly important.We continuously strive at being perceived as a highly competent resource unit by giving valued support to both external customers and our DNV stations worldwide.
