Huawei's Munich Research Center is responsible for advanced technology research, architectural development, design and strategic engineering of our products. Join us as aResearcher in System Security / OS Security (m/f/d)Your mission Conduct research on cutting-edge security technologies in areas such as access control, operating system security, and system security, including hardware-based security mechanisms for CPUs, GPUs, and specialized accelerators. Propose new technologies / research topics and transfer them into cutting-edge technologies for Huawei products. Deliver technical design, deep insights and strategy planning of novel technologies, developing and optimizing Proof of Concepts. Apply for high-value patents and publish in top security conferences.    Your areas of expertise Hold or are in the process of graduating with a PhD or Master’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science or any related area, or have 3+ years of experience in system security. Understanding and experience in at least one security area such as system security, OS security, access control, code analysis, cryptography, etc. Knowledge on the inner workings of OS kernels alongside understanding of the security design of Linux, macOS, HarmonyOS, iOS or Android. Alternatively, knowledge on computer architecture and security aspects of computing solutions, e.g. memory protection, secure RDMA, microarchitectural attacks, etc. Solid experience in C or C++, Rust is a nice-to-have.
