Am Lehrstuhl für Data Analytics (Univ.-Prof. Dr. habil. Rouven E. Haschka) suchen wir eine/n engagierte/n Doktorand/in, die/der an der Schnittstelle von ökonomischer Theorie, statistischem Lernen und empirischer Evidenz forschen möchte. Unser Forschungsschwerpunkt liegt auf kausaler Inferenz, struktureller Modellierung, Methoden des statistischen Lernens, Probabilistischem ML, und moderner Ökonometrie – mit Anwendungen in Gesundheitsökonomie, Innovationsforschung, Entwicklungsökonomie, Marketing und Management. Wir interessieren uns besonders für Ansätze aus dem statistical learning und der interpretable / explainable AI, die ökonomische Fragestellungen aus einer probabilistischen Perspektive beleuchten. Ziel ist es, kausale Mechanismen zu verstehen – nicht bloß Vorhersagen zu treffen. Ihr Aufgabengebiet: Eigenständige Promotion mit empirisch-ökonometrischem Schwerpunkt mit dem Ziel internationaler Publikationen Entwicklung einer eigenen Forschungsagenda im Bereich ökonometrischer Methoden und kausale KI Arbeit mit realen Mikro- oder Paneldaten Lehre in Ökonometrie, Statistik und empirischen Methoden (Bachelor/Master) Betreuung quantitativer Abschlussarbeiten und Mitwirkung im Lehrstuhlteam Unser Anforderungsprofil: Einschlägiges, erfolgreich abgeschlossenes wissenschaftliches Hochschulstudium in VWL, BWL, Wirtschaftswissenschaften oder verwandten quantitativen Studiengängen (z. B.
