Your responsibilities will include developing strong relationships with customers and key business executives, answering to client queries and identifying new business opportunities among these customers.You'll be a strategic mastermind responsible for developing and executing cutting-edge account strategies. Your expertise will lead to the successful growth and retention of Kyndryl's most valuable accounts. With your sharp eye for identifying and qualifying new opportunities, you'll build relationships with key decision-makers and deliver tailor-made solutions that cater to the unique needs of each customer.Collaboration is key, and as a Customer Partner, you'll work closely with other sales team members to ensure a seamless account management process. Together, you'll execute every aspect flawlessly, from the initial prospecting stage to closing deals and beyond.Not only will you lead one or more existing accounts, but you'll also be the driving force behind generating new opportunities and expanding existing work into larger scopes and new capabilities. By building a strong go-to-market pipeline with our partners, you'll join forces to pursue and conquer new deals, taking Kyndryl to unprecedented heights.You're not just an expert in our industry—you're an expert in Financial Services and Insurance. And finally, you’re open and borderless – naturally inclusive in how you work with others.Responsibilities:Serve as the main point of contact for all customer account management mattersBuild and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with existing as well as new customersNegotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profit and growthDevelop trusted advisor relationships with customer stakeholders and executive sponsorsEnsure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectivesCommunicate progress of initiatives to internal and external stakeholdersDevelop new business with existing clients and identify areas for improvement to meet sales quotasForecast and track key account metrics and prepare reports on account statusCollaborate with other sales teams to identify and grow opportunities within your customer setManage challenging client requests or issue escalations as neededRequired Skills and ExperienceProven work experience (7+ years) in account management or a relevant role Ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels, including executive and C-levelExperience with CRM software and Microsoft 365Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skillsExperience delivering client-focused solutionsAbility to manage multiple projects and demands while maintaining attention to detailStrong communication skills in a complex matrix with clients, external and internal partners, as well as cross-functional teamsKnowledge of business and technology trends and industry best practices, especially within ITStrong verbal and written communication skillsBA/BS or MA/MS degree in IT, Business Administration, Sales, or a relevant fieldPreferred Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree or Master’s degreeConsultative selling experience in technical solutionsRelationship management experienceSubject matter expertise in 1+ areas (e.g. Cloud, Network, Cybersecurity, AI, ...)Cross-functional team management experienceCommunication skills in a complex matrix with clients, external and internal partners as well as cross-functional teamsBeing YouDiversity is a whole lot more than what we look like or where we come from, it’s how we think and who we are.
