When You Join Vestas, You Get days of vacation plus Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve off Overtime account and sabbatical option Regulated labour contract Modern equipment and workwear provided by Vestas Company bike, gym subsidies, employee discounts When you join as a service technician you get: Onboarding and internal training in wind turbine maintenance through the Vestas Academy Certification as an electrically skilled worker in accordance with DIN-VDE 5- About the Position As a Service Technician (m/f/d), you, with your team will be responsible for the maintenance work on wind turbines (WTGs), following standardized maintenance plans. You’ll implement retrofits to enhance turbine efficiency and document all tasks using modern digital tools. Alongside your technical responsibilities, your site presence greatly influences team collaboration, day-to-day operations, and the sustained effectiveness of clean energy initiatives throughout the region. What You’ll Need to Thrive A completed vocational qualification in one of the following fields: Electrical engineering, metalwork, mechanical/automotive engineering, or building and supply technology Individuals with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply Ability to work without supervision and create technical documentation Comfortable using Microsoft and iOS systems; SAP experience is a plus Willingness to travel within Germany Physically fit and comfortable working at heights A valid Class B or BE driver’s license Language skills: Fluent German and Basic English Safety, Training, and Career Development We believe safety always comes first.
