When You Join Vestas, You Get 30 days of vacation plus Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve off Overtime account and sabbatical option Regulated labour contract Modern equipment and workwear provided by Vestas Company bike, gym subsidies, employee discounts As a service technician you get: Onboarding and internal training in wind turbine maintenance through the Vestas Academy Certification as an electrically skilled worker in accordance with DIN‑VDE‑0105‑100 About the Position As a Service Technician (m/f/d) you and your team will be responsible for maintenance work on wind turbines (WTGs), following standardized maintenance plans. You’ll implement retrofits to enhance turbine efficiency and document all tasks using modern digital tools. Your site presence also influences team collaboration, day‑to‑day operations, and the sustained effectiveness of clean energy initiatives throughout the region. What You’ll Need to Thrive A completed vocational qualification in electrical engineering or another electrical field Ability to work without supervision and create technical documentation Comfortable using Microsoft and iOS systems; SAP experience is a plus Willingness to travel within Germany Physically fit and comfortable working at heights A valid Class B or BE driver’s license Fluent German and basic English Safety, Training, and Career Development We believe safety always comes first.
