Pharmacy Network & Patient Recruitment Manager (m/f/d) – Clinical Trial Services PHOENIX is Europe’s leading pharmaceutical wholesaler, operating the continent’s most extensive distribution network. Within this framework, our Clinical Trial Services (CTS) division plays a pivotal role in advancing strategic partnerships with sponsors, CROs, and CDMOs to deliver high-impact solutions across the clinical trial supply chain.As part of our business development strategy, the CTS team is responsible for designing and executing customized comparator sourcing models that meet the complex demands of clinical studies. Leveraging PHOENIX’s pan-European infrastructure, we ensure access to commercially available medicinal products at competitive conditions—without compromising on quality, compliance, or availability.We are looking for a Pharmacy Network & Patient Recruitment Manager (m/f/d) – Clinical Trial Services at our headquarters in Mannheim. Your Tasks Establish and expand the PHOENIX pharmacy network for clinical trial activities.Integrate pharmacy services into CTS workflows, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.Develop partnerships with internal stakeholders and external organizations (CROs, sponsors).Design and implement patient recruitment processes through PHOENIX pharmacies.Oversee multi-step screening procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Coordinate rollout of pharmacy-based CTS services across multiple countries.Collaborate with Clinical Trial Services leadership, country teams, and business development units.Act as the primary point of contact for pharmacy network initiatives within CTS.Lead initiatives to integrate PHOENIX’s retail pharmacy network into the CTS offering, enabling decentralized Patient Recruitment and Pharmacy Services. Establish this capability as a unique differentiator within the European clinical trial supply landscape.Identify and implement improvements across the CTS supply chain to enhance service quality, reduce time-to-site, and ensure compliance with international clinical trial standards.Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments to inform CTS strategy and guide the expansion of PHOENIX’s service portfolio in alignment with future market needs.Responsible for achieving annual revenue, margin and sales targets. Strictly adhere to PHOENIX guidelines and SOPs. Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that align with their clinical trial requirements. Assist in preparing proposals and presentations to effectively communicate our offerings.Attend Clinical Trial Supply conferences and industry events to network, gather insights, and represent PHOENIX’s capabilities and services. Your Profile Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Healthcare Management, or related field.Proven track record in clinical trial operations, patient recruitment, or pharmacy services. Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration. Familiarity with regulatory requirements in clinical research and healthcare.Strong organizational and communication skills.Ability to manage complex projects across multiple geographies.Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capability.Exceptional organizational and prioritization capabilities, managing multiple high-impact initiatives simultaneously with precision and accountability. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers and external partners.Willingness to travelFluent spoken and written English; knowledge of German is an advantage Our Benefits:Future-proof: We are growing and expanding.
