It's not just about festivals, like Rock am Ring or sporting events - like Formula 1 or the Super Bowl - but also about guaranteeing all guests a thrilling experience.  Come with us as Senior Network Engineer - Maritime (m/f/d) on this exciting journey and experience the fascination of Riedel Communications in action.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Configure and troubleshoot complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks, including static routing, OSPF, and BGP. Optimize broadcast and IT traffic using VLANs, QoS, and ACLs, while implementing port security. Design and deploy redundancy and failover strategies with technologies such as Spanning Tree, VRRP, and MLAG. Deploy and maintain multicast routing using IGMP snooping, queriers, and PIM (Sparse/Dense modes). Support precise time synchronization across media networks using PTP (IEEE 1588). Implement and troubleshoot professional broadcast protocols such as AES67, SMPTE ST 2110, and SMPTE 2022-7. Ensure deterministic, low-latency, and reliable transport of audio and video signals over IP. Configure and manage Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, and access policies, applying best practices for network segmentation and broadcast/IT convergence. Deploy, configure, and maintain Riedel Artist intercom systems, MediorNet, and MediorNet IP, integrating them with broader IT and broadcast networks. Manage virtualized environments with Proxmox VE and configure network devices from Aruba, Fortinet, and Mellanox/NVIDIA. Optionally design and troubleshoot enterprise Wi-Fi (Aruba), integrate and monitor IP-based CCTV systems (Axis), and support media monitoring and control platforms.  THAT'S YOU Strong understanding of unicast/multicast routing, QoS, network redundancy, and real-time traffic handling. Hands-on experience with multicast troubleshooting tools (e.g., IGMP monitoring, Wireshark). Knowledge of broadcast workflows and IT-production integration points. Ability to document and diagram complex broadcast network topologies. 3+ years of experience in broadcast IT networking or a related field. Vendor certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE, or Aruba Certified. Experience in live broadcast or production network environments is a strong plus.
