Following successful customer validation, we’re ready to run a technical PoC, followed by a massive scale opportunity, making energy storage a core part of our product ecosystem. Further, you’ll develop our smart appliance ecosystem further – making sure that also people in multi-family homes and cities can benefit from the financial benefits of the energy transition. As Product Manager – Small Asset User, you’ll be responsible for the product vision, roadmap and its seamless execution - creating an exceptional, connected experience for our customers. This is a unique opportunity to define one of Rabot’s next-generation products and help households take full control of their renewable energy usage. You’ll be part of a newly built internal unit which plays a crucial role in bringing the company’s vision and strategy to life. The unit is designed to own the customer journey E2E, leveraging lots of autonomy and speed. The goal of the unit is to bring a differentiated product to the market that our customers love. It’s a place to push boundaries and innovate on a continuous basis. Even if you don’t tick all boxes or your CV is not straightforward, feel free to apply – we value the hunger for building things higher than experience. What You’ll Do Translate the vision and strategy of the small asset squad (home storage & smart appliances) into a clear, prioritized product vision and roadmap — from pilot stage to full-scale rollout.Define how small assets integrate into the Rabot app, collaborating with Design and Engineering to build seamless, intuitive user experiences.Define product requirements and success criteria based on customer insights, market trends, and business objectives – leveraging both quantitative and qualitative data – focusing on qualitative data only will not be enoughConduct quantitative and qualitative user research, analyze feedback, and identify pain points to inform product decisionsEnsure the product delivers measurable improvements in customer satisfaction and growth metricsWork cross-functionally with Engineering, Commercial, Data, and Operations to continuously improve product performance and user satisfaction.What You BringMust-Have Experience 2+ years of product management experience, ideally in hardware/software, energy, or smart home technology.Strong understanding of Agile product management, including OKRs and data-driven decision-making.Technical fluency, enabling effective collaboration with both hardware and software engineers.Excellent communication skills in English and German (C1 or higher).A customer-first mindset, with the ability to translate complex technology into clear, valuable experiences.Attention to detail: Track record of delivering polished, reliable features under tight deadlines.Based in or willing to relocate to one of our office locations (Hamburg, Berlin, Munich) Nice-to-Haves Experience in battery storage, renewable energy, or smart home ecosystems.Knowledge of IoT platforms, connected devices, or app-based control systems.What Success Looks Like (6–12 Months)Successful technical Proof of Concept of our home storage solution was created and scaled to the market, attracting both existing and new customers. The Rabot app offers a seamless, integrated experience for energy storage monitoring and control, as well as for smart appliances.Customer feedback loops and performance KPIs actively inform roadmap decisions.You’ve become the go-to expert for Home Storage within Rabot, driving clarity, alignment, and progress across teams.What It’s Like to Work HereAt Rabot Energy, we believe in autonomy, collaboration, and purpose. You’ll join a dynamic, international team that values open communication, shared learning, and ownership over hierarchy. We move fast, experiment often, and make decisions based on data and impact.
