Postdoc - Molecular Biology Research in AML (f/m/d)

The postdoctoral fellow will work in a team of enthusiastic biologists and medical scientists with the aim to identify networks in the regulation of human leukemia stem cell activity and to understand the mechanisms of developing and overcoming therapy resistance Focus on epitranscriptomic modifications and gene expression with regulation of translation in cancer Multi-Omics single cell sequencing approaches to characterize therapy resistance Responsible planning and performing of experiments in the framework of the scientific project plan Preparation and presentation of project reports and publications PhD in biology, biochemistry or equivalent Broad expertise in basic cell-molecular and biochemical techniques (Western blotting, immunoprecipitations, ChIP, gene expression analysis, cloning, cell culture, lentiviral transductions, flow cytometry, microscopy etc.) Experience and skills in Next-Generation-Sequencing, CRISPR/CAS9, shRNA-mediated knock down and genome editing techniques Experience in writing scientific reports and papers Very good knowledge of and experience with MS office, graphic programs, statistical software, bioinformatics tools and online tools ( Illustrator, Lightroom, GraphPadPrism, R, BLAST) Fluent both in written and spoken English language Goal-oriented, individual training and development opportunities Working with the latest techniques / technical equipment Possibility of mobile working Possibility to publish scientifically is offered and supported Regular team meetings Interdisciplinary cooperation Flexible working hours within the framework of flexitime Collectively agreed remuneration (TV-L E13), attractive company pension scheme (VBL) 30 days vacation Sustainable travel: job ticket Family-friendly working environment: cooperative arrangements for childcare, subsidy for child vacation care, advice for employees with relatives in need of care Wide range of health, prevention and sports offers
