Take part in the software design and architecture decisions.Implement modules to connect to wearable sensors via Bluetooth Low Energy.Implement modules to connect to the sensors built in mobile phones, smart watches, and other wearables via SDKs.Extend our existing Wear OS companion app, written in Kotlin.Use your UI expertise to implement digital health products and prototypes.Collaborate closely with UX Design, Backend Engineering, QA, and Product Management.What you need to succeedYou’re ready for a challenging position with the opportunity to learn and to contribute  with your 2+ years experience as a frontend engineer.You hold a university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or in a related field You have experience with mobile app development on Android and optionally on iOS.You bring solid experience in web development in React Native, VueJS, Angular, Stencil.You have worked hands-on with cross-platform app development using React Native, Flutter, Capacitor JS.You have a deep understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and TypeScript).You have a strong focus on performance, semantic markup, accessibility, and security.Your written and spoken English is fluent, knowledge of German is a plus.You’re up to date in terms of new design trends, frameworks, and web APIs like WebWorker, ServiceWorker, and web standards like WebAssemblyYou're able to analyze the pros and cons of new web APIs, standards, frameworks, toolkits, and provide valuable insights You have experience with the progressive enhancement methodologyYou show a sense for good design and great user experienceYou’re happy to mentor Junior Engineers and participate in design and code reviewsWhy you will love working with usActive contribution to developing digital solutions and making health data ready for research.Develop your career by working with very experienced colleagues.Opportunity to gain experience with a big list of cloud-based tools (Google, Microsoft, Atlassian etc.).Learn about technologies beyond Digital Workplace like networking for the office, VMware virtualization infrastructure, servers, etc. Active contribution to developing digital solutions and making health data ready for research.Nonprofit work with a clear purpose: Make the world a healthier place.
