What You'll Do & Who You Are
We are looking for an experienced
Frontend Engineer (f/m/d)
to join our Dealer Communication and Lead Handling team in Berlin.

You will work with a passionate team on a mission to create a seamless, intuitive and trustworthy lead-handling experience for our dealers.

You will report into the Engineering Manager in a cross-platform product team, which comprises of Frontend, Backend, Data and Native engineers and a dedicated Product Manager, UX designer and Data Analyst.

This is a hybrid role, and our office is in Berlin Charlottenburg.

What You'll Do

• Lead the development of Frontend applications using React and TypeScript, following best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with the product management and UX/UI design teams to create scalable application architectures. Ensure the design aligns with our technical vision and strategies.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards. Implement unit tests and automated testing strategies to verify the applications' correctness and reliability.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and other issues to enhance the performance of the Web applications.
• Stay updated with industry trends, Web platform updates, and technologies. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the development process and application performance.
• Collaborate with teams, including backend and native developers, designers, and product managers, to define project requirements, milestones, and timelines.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues reported by users and team members. Provide solutions to ensure application stability and user satisfaction.
• Follow security best practices and ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations throughout development.
• Create technical documentation related to the codebase you work on, including architecture, API integration, and code documentation.

Who You Are

• You have at least least two years of professional work experience using TypeScript, React, and HTML/CSS. and, experience with the framework
• A good eye for details and experience creating web user interfaces that are accessible to everyone, compliant with WCAG standards, optimised for performance according to the Core Web Vitals and importantly, smooth, easy and fun to use.
• You write clean, well structured and maintainable code with sufficient coverage with unit, integration and end-to-end tests.
• You take end-to-end ownership of frontend features, from architecture and implementation to testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• You can work across technology boundaries and collaborate with backend and native engineers, designers, and product managers.
• Experience working in an Agile environment, participating in planning, retrospectives, and daily standups.
