AI Transformation Lead

On our path towards one of the biggest tech and fitness companies in Europe we’re making AI the next engine of our internal productivity, and we're looking for you to take the driver's seat in Munich. As our AI Transformation Lead (m/f/d), you will build and lead our internal-facing AI team from the ground up. This small, high-impact team will report directly to the CTO, orchestrating AI adoption across every corner of EGYM. Your mission: to empower our 900+ employees to work multiple times more efficiently than ever before. This is not an ivory-tower research job; it’s a hands-on leadership role to create tangible business impact.Build & Lead: You will establish and grow a small central hub of excellence that drives AI adoption, setting the strategy and vision for AI at EGYMStrategy & Prioritization: You will partner with business and tech leaders to identify, evaluate, and prioritize high-value AI use cases across all departmentsChange & Evangelism: You will act as the face of AI at EGYM, advising senior leadership, running workshops, and inspiring teams to embed AI into their daily workflowsHands-On Expertise: You will stay at the cutting edge of LLMs and applied AI, cutting through vendor hype and guiding the pragmatic integration of AI tools into our existing systemsGovernance & Impact: You will define principles for safe and effective AI use while tracking adoption and efficiency gains to demonstrate tangible business value Your fitness level AI/LLM Expertise: You have a deep, hands-on understanding of the latest AI/LLM models and applications, with at least 3 years of experience working non-stop on real-world use cases. You can see through vendor buzzwords and possess a strong intuition for what worksChange Management: You are a master of change leadership, capable of nudging, challenging, and inspiring leaders and teams at all levels to embrace new ways of workingProven Track Record: You have successfully applied AI and LLMs to drive internal productivity improvements in companies with 250+ employeesStrategic Transformation Experience: You have a background in top-tier consulting or a senior corporate role (e.g., Head of Digital Transformation, Innovation Manager, Platform Product Director) where you've successfully driven complex, cross-functional technology adoption programsProduct & Tech Acumen: You have a background in building and scaling internal platforms or products (e.g., developer tools, AI copilots, data products) and have strong credibility with engineering teamsEducational Foundation: You have a STEM degree (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML) or a related technical foundation, ideally complemented by an MBA or executive business training Your training goal for your first 6 months Establish the Foundation: You will define the mission, strategy, and initial roadmap for the internal AI team in close collaboration with the CTO and other key leadersScore Early Wins: You will identify and launch 1-2 high-impact pilot projects to demonstrate the value of AI and build momentum for broader adoption across the companyBuild Key Relationships: You will establish yourself as the go-to trusted advisor for all things related to AI, building strong partnerships with leaders across the organizationTeam Integration: You will fully integrate into the EGYM culture and leadership team, understanding our unique challenges and opportunities to drive success The equipment we provide Choose Your Equipment: Use state-of-the-art laptops (MacOS, Linux, Windows?
