Join us as aPrincipal Processor Architecture Engineer  (m/f/d)Your mission Explore and optimize processor micro-architecture for baseband applications. Innovate and develop methodologies to optimize micro-architecture for specific applications. Analyze the latest industrial and academic processor architectures, evaluating trade-offs in power, performance and area. Develop micro-architecture models for quantitative performance benchmarking. Your areas of expertise Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Architecture, Electronical/Electronics Engineering or related field. Strong understanding of computer architectures, architecture modeling and their physical implementation implications. Proven experience in processor design and implementation. Knowledge of VLIW and ASIP design tools is a big plus. Solid understanding of computer systems, including SoC interconnects, memories, compilers and C/Assembly programming. Proficiency in highly efficient programming with Assembly, C, Python and hardware description languages such as Verilog/VHDL/Chisel etc. Hands-on experience working in Linux environment without IDEs; ability to quickly adapt and integrate open- source projects. Proficiency with Git version control and open-source software/hardware build flows. Excellent intercultural communication skills and professional leadership.
