Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the RD83 Engineering USA/London Market team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a permanent basis, commencing at the earliest possible date as a Underwriter Engineering Technical Reinsurance. You can look forward to You are responsible for the acquisition, assessment and negotiation of facultative reinsurance offers from the US and London markets You are in charge of analyzing engineering offers Through regular market monitoring and competitor analyses, you contribute to the further development of our engineering portfolio You build sustainable relationships with our international business partners and meet them regularly on-site You work in interdisciplinary teams with the goal of continuously improving our underwriting processes and tools You come equipped with A successfully completed degree (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Sciences, Civil Engineering, Technical Business Administration, or Business Administration) Several years of relevant professional experience in underwriting with a focus on Engineering at a primary and/or reinsurance company Profound technical understanding as well as expertise in coverage concepts Knowledge of the London and/or US markets is desirable Business-fluent English combined with strong negotiation skills; additional language skills would be an advantage An international mindset and networking skills, as well as a willingness to travel regularly Don't meet all the requirements?
