YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESThe What: As a Manufacturing Engineer at Blackwave, you’ll operate right where innovation meets production. You’ll develop and industrialize manufacturing processes that make our lightweight, high-performance composite components truly flight-ready. The benchmark for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.Develop and build the future: Work on the development and production of our advanced composite products — from prototype to full-scale manufacturing.Engineer for lightness: Design components and production processes with a focus on lightweight solutions for aerospace applications.Shape innovation: Be part of a fast, iterative development cycle and contribute your own ideas, concepts, and creativity to every stage of the process.Scale and industrialize: Take ownership of scaling up and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and reliability in serial production.Be the go-to expert: Support the team as a key contact for process and material topics of components, winding, fixtures, and molding tools.Important Note: This role is focused on Manufacturing Engineering and the industrialization of our COPVs.
