French Consulting is seeking a Catholic Administrative Pastoral Life Coordinator to support the Catholic Chaplain and Garrison Religious Support Office in Bavaria. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring Catholic worship services, sacramental support, and community activities are well-organized, accessible, and responsive to the needs of the military community. This position operates under the USAG Bavaria Chaplain’s Religious Support Program in accordance with the Command Master Religious Program (CMRP). The program’s mission is to ensure the free exercise of religion, as mandated under USC Title X, by providing comprehensive religious support to Soldiers, Families, and authorized civilians. Your work will have a direct and meaningful impact on the spiritual readiness and well-being of the community. What You’ll Do Catholic Religious Community Support Provide administrative and logistical support to the Catholic Chaplain/Priest in the conduct of worship services, sacraments, and religious activities. Assist with administrative tasks in accordance with policies established for the Pastoral Care of Catholic Personnel as published by the Archdiocese for the Military Services. Develop and distribute a monthly Catholic community calendar outlining worship services, religious events, and closures. Create and publish weekly bulletins and announcements. Support Catholic community event coordination, publicity efforts, and registration management. Maintain Catholic community registration data and assist with the collection and organization of sacramental records. Team Collaboration   Attend and participate in required parish and chapel meetings to exchange information related to Catholic Administrative Pastoral Life Coordination duties. Engage in staff development programs, cross-training initiatives, and performance improvement activities to support mission success.  Professional Development & Documentation   Obtain Military Catechist Certification through the Archdiocese for the Military Services within 90 days of being in the position. Prepare and present information clearly in both written and oral formats, including emails, meeting minutes, bulletins, announcements, and promotional materials. Qualifications Experience: 2 Years’ experience in Catholic programming or providing support to a Catholic organization. Must be able to obtain a Catechist certification from the Archdiocese for the Military Services within 90 days of contract award. Have the ability to present information orally and in written format in English clearly and with excellent comprehension. Must be computer competent in Windows-based operating systems and be proficient with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Must have a current driver’s license, personal vehicle, properly insured to travel in the area of assigned bases in Bavaria.  Language Proficiency: Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Technical Skills: Experience using standard computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and internet/email tools. Work Authorization & Background: Must possess SOFA status with access to U.S. military installations; or Legal authorization to work in Germany and ability to successfully pass a police background investigation. Professional Conduct: Ability to communicate and behave in a respectful, courteous, and professional manner consistent with U.S. military religious support standards, including refraining from offensive or inappropriate language. Preferred: Completed training for the Sacrament of Catholic Confirmation (desired but not required).
