Secure your dream job with one of our prestigious client companies or join our internal team - and take the next step in your career with usFor our client, the world's largest e-commerce company, we are currently filling the following position:Data Center Technician (m/f/d)YOUR TASKSInstall server racks and perform hardware break-fix on various componentsTroubleshoot network issues and respond to situations affecting operational stabilityProvide dedicated supervision for Partner Cloud Providers and external vendorsServe as the primary contact for internal customers (e.g., Network Engineers, Systems Engineers, Software Developers, Technical Operations) and external service partners (Partner Cloud Providers, Hardware Vendors, Contractors, Service Providers)Manage assigned trouble tickets and meet SLAs through a directed workflow; act as the first point of contact for hardware and technical issuesParticipate in on-call rotations and support scheduled maintenance and change management activities in the data centerWork in a 24/7 shift rotation, including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and on-call dutiesYOUR QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or equivalent and technical degree or certifications in IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fieldsBasic knowledge of computer and server hardware, network hardware, and operating systemsExperience troubleshooting server and network hardwareExperience with Microsoft Office applicationsExperience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system and coordinating with Leads and ManagersStrong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of data center operations, including inventory management, hot/cold aisles, and physical securityUnderstanding of data center safety and security best practicesBENEFITS30 days holidayWorking time account with full overtime compensationAttractive employee discounts with numerous top suppliersPermanent contact person during the entire process / assignmentPlease be advised that a valid work permit for Germany is required for non-EU citizens.INTERESTED?Then we look forward to receiving your convincing application including salary requirements and earliest starting date via our online portal.
