Job Title: Area Sales Manager Consumables – Central EuropeDescription:

We are seeking a highly skilled Area Sales Manager Consumables – Central Europe to join our dynamic team at Nordson EFD. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating sustainable revenue growth using our consumables product portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, with at least 5 years of experience in a business-to-business market. You should possess excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills, as well as complete fluency in English, German and one major Eastern European Language.

Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. We offer a competitive salary of around €80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong relationships with top customers, identifying buying influences and maintaining account plans
  • Prioritize focus on market segments in accelerated growth and market growth as defined by EFD's strategic discipline element
  • Work closely with line managers to increase sales competence index year over year
  • Follow EFD's sales process, ensuring each opportunity is recorded in CRM with details on key elements

Requirements:

  • Proper education enabling complete performance of the job (Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Automation, Automotive, Material Science or Engineering, General Technical Education, Sales, Business, Marketing or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years recent field sales experience in a business-to-business market
  • Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills
  • Complete fluency in English, German and one major Eastern European Language (preferably either Polish, Czech, Hungarian or Romanian)
  • Good analytical skills, able to deal with technical queries and applications
