European Commodity Clearing AG | Senior Architect

As a Software Architect, you will be responsible for developing software concepts and architectures for our financial services systems. Your primary objective is to translate business, technical, and compliance requirements into software architectures that meet the needs of our product managers and teams.
Main Responsibilities:- Define and design software components and interfaces
- Plan and evaluate work packages
- Select appropriate technologies for technical enablement of product teams
- Advise full stack software development team on implementation of defined requirements
- Develop integration and verification strategies and support implementation phase
- Coordinate with IT, information security, and other control functions for compliance with regulations and corporate security requirements

We are looking for individuals with a successfully completed university degree in Information Technology/Computer Science Engineering or an IT specialist apprenticeship. A background in full stack software development and architecture, combined with several years of hands-on experience in designing cloud/on-premise architectures, is essential.
Strong skills in full stack web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular, Java, Python, multiple databases, and Linux containers and Kubernetes, are also required. Experience in Requirements Engineering and Domain Driven Design is highly valued. Strong language skills in German and English are necessary, along with excellent intercultural and communication skills and capabilities in conflict management.
