European Commodity Clearing AG | Cloud Engineering Manager

We are looking for a Senior Architect to develop software concepts and architectures for our financial services systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for translating business, technical, and compliance requirements into software architectures by defining and designing software components and interfaces, planning and evaluating work packages, selecting appropriate technologies, advising the full stack software development team, developing integration and verification strategies, and coordinating with IT, information security, and other control functions.
Key Responsibilities- Define and design software components and interfaces.
- Plan and evaluate work packages.
- Select appropriate technologies.
- Advise the full stack software development team.
- Develop integration and verification strategies.
- Coordinate with IT, information security, and other control functions.
- Successfully completed university degree in Information Technology or Computer Science Engineering.
- Background in full stack software development and architecture with several years of hands-on experience in designing cloud and on-premise architectures.
- Solid understanding of full stack web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular, Java, Python, multiple Databases).
- Knowledge of security controls for the public cloud (encryption of data in motion/rest and key management).
- Experience in Requirements Engineering and Domain Driven Design.
- Knowledge of Linux containers and Kubernetes.
- Practical experience in working with and architecting at least one Hyperscaler, preferably Google or Azure.
- Experienced in working with agile tools (e.g. Confluence, Jira, Dev-Ops etc.).
- Teamplayer-mindset with strong intercultural and communication skills but also capabilities in conflict management.
- Business fluent language skills in German and English.
