We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Controlling Team Lead to join our team at AUTO1 Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for controlling the cost of our logistics spending and leading the coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a multinational team of ~10 people, providing guidance and coaching to ensure their success.
- Develop and implement KPIs to measure the health of our business, tracking them closely to drive process improvements.
- Manage the performance of cost controlling processes, identifying areas for optimization and implementing changes to improve efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, ensuring their expectations are met while driving results with the team.
- Collaborate with Business Analysis, Business Engineering, Product, and Tech teams to implement tools that automate repetitive processes and drive efficiency.
- Manage mini-projects to continuously improve the controlling function, driving process improvements and cost savings.
- At least 6+ years of relevant work experience in logistics, supply chain, business, economics, finance, or a related field.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in accounting, cost control, automotive logistics, or transportation is a plus.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team toward shared goals.
- Proven ability to take ownership of tasks, learn quickly, and drive continuous improvements.
- Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on proactive and transparent communication.
- Attention to detail, with a willingness to learn our internal processes and tools.
- Experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and maintaining budget discipline.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into understandable insights.
- Fluency in English is essential, with proficiency in additional European languages a plus.
