Job Description

We are seeking a Material Assessment Manager to strengthen our Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Department in Trier.

Job Description
  • You will conduct technical and scientific regulatory interpretations for JTI products worldwide.
  • You will perform regulatory compliance checks for new ingredients and assess product compliance for launches in new markets.
  • You will collaborate with the Agile Testing & Packaging Assessment Team to develop material testing procedures.
  • You will qualify materials and provide SRA input in PLM and Change Order approval in SAP.
  • You will retrieve new component formulations from suppliers and manufacturers under confidentiality agreements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • You should have a university degree in a scientific field, preferably chemistry or biology.
  • You should have 1-5 years of experience in the tobacco, FMCG, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • You should have knowledge of worldwide regulations and standards concerning tobacco products and electrical consumer goods.
  • You should be proficient in MS Office and have SAP knowledge as an asset.
  • You should be fluent in English and have proficiency in other languages as an advantage.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately €55,000 - €75,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
