Substrate Equipment Operations and Maintenance Specialist

- Leading the Technical Assessment and Selection of Substrate Modules and Equipment: Oversee the evaluation, implementation, integration, commissioning, fine-tuning, and maintenance of substrate modules and related equipment.
- Management of the Substrate Equipment Team: Develop a team structure, transfer skills, and sustainably enhance team competitiveness in equipment technology.
- Technology Assessments and Planning: Prepare key technology and building know-how in core equipment technology.
- Equipment Upgrades and Modifications: Handle equipment upgrades, modifications, or replacement through second sources to improve overall efficiency, stability, and throughput, and solve critical technical issues.
Requirements
- Education: Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or a comparable course within the semiconductor industry.
- Experience: At least 12 years of experience in the introduction or development of substrate equipment for semiconductors.
- Practical Experience: Practical experience in the introduction or production of SiC products in fabs is required.
- Familiarity with Substrate Equipment: Familiarity with the substrate equipment of the industry and device construction architecture.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to independently conduct conversions and improvements on equipment, perform analyses, and develop solutions for deviations in online machines and products.
- Knowledge of Semiconductor Manufacturing: Good knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing with wafer substrate equipment (ingot thinning, laser ablation, wafer thinning and cleaning, etc.) and experience in mass production of semiconductor technology is advantageous.
- Team Development and Leadership: Your enthusiasm and assertiveness make it easy for you to train new employees and support your team in achieving goals. Experience in team development and technical management is beneficial.
- International Experience: A hands-on mentality and an open attitude towards intercultural working environments make it easy for you to adapt to new surroundings quickly.
- Language Skills: In addition to excellent communication and presentation skills in English, knowledge of German and/or Chinese is advantageous.
- Flexibility: Flexibility and openness to international business travel or delegations complete your profile.
