About the Role

As a Venture Catalyst with UVC Partners, you will be at the forefront of discovering and nurturing highly promising early-stage start-ups in Europe. Our mission is to identify game-changing ventures that can drive positive and sustainable change through innovation and technology.

Your Responsibilities
  • Discover founders and start-ups with immense growth potential
  • Sources deals by working directly at the interface between start-ups and our investors
  • Pitch promising start-ups to our partners on a weekly basis, gaining exposure and building relationships
  • Maintain lasting connections with key stakeholders, driving efforts to build a strong partner ecosystem
  • Participate in start-up conferences and pitch events to find top founding teams and represent UVC Partners
  • Owning the outbound deal sourcing process, think ahead and implement new ideas to improve processes daily

We estimate the salary for this role to be around €45,000 - €60,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This compensation package includes a competitive salary, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Requirements
  • A strong academic background, preferably with great success in engineering, sciences, business, finance, economics, or a related field
  • First-hand experience with start-ups or within the venture scene is preferred
  • A passion for learning, challenge, and improvement, with a genuine interest in discovering and nurturing innovative start-ups
  • Excellent networking skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and build lasting relationships
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and pitches
