Product Manager - Energy Storage Solutions

Exide Technologies GmbH is a leading provider of innovative battery storage solutions for automotive and industrial applications. We are seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to join our team and drive the development of our energy storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the product roadmap for our energy storage solutions
  • Align our product offerings with market requirements and collaborate with the R&D team
  • Ensure product certifications and adjustments to regional specific requirements
  • Monitor market trends, technical developments, and innovation in the energy storage sector to define future product development
  • Manage product cost targets and collaborate with internal functions to ensure a competitive product line
  • Provide technical support to the sales team for product information, customer training, and technical data sheet analyses
  • Prioritize sales projects to be supported by R&D
  • Organize product launch programs and coordinate product information with our communication teams
  • Support pre-sales and project technical analyses
Requirements:
  • University degree in a technical or engineering field
  • Specialization or training in energy or renewable energy is a plus
  • At least 5 years of experience in product management positions, with a strong desire to engage in battery technologies on a technical level
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with different functions
  • Proven track record of dealing with customers and commitment to developing collaborative relationships
  • Proficient written and spoken English and German skills
  • Proactive communication with colleagues and customers
