About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Crime Prevention Specialist to join our team at Hirschman Associates. As a key member of our financial crime prevention department, you will play a crucial role in detecting and preventing financial crimes within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations into potential financial crime activities, including money laundering, fraud, bribery, and corruption.
  • Transaction Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of transactions, customer profiles, and behavior to detect suspicious activities.
  • Compliance: Prepare and submit Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) to relevant authorities in a timely manner.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Compliance, Risk Management, and Legal teams, to support investigations and risk assessments.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to anti-financial crime and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Training and Awareness: Provide guidance and training to employees on anti-financial crime matters, ensuring a high level of awareness throughout the organization.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Several years of experience in financial crime, anti-money laundering (AML), or compliance within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of financial crime regulations, including AML, KYC, sanctions, and anti-bribery and corruption laws.
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English; proficiency in another European language is a plus.
