UX Design Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UX Design Team Lead to join our team at Aroundhome. As a key member of our UX team, you will be responsible for leading a small team of dedicated UX designers and championing their personal development.
You will take on a hybrid role, working closely with our product managers and developers to drive forward the overarching development of our UX, visual design language, and working methods. Your expertise in user-centered design principles, conversion optimization, and the latest UX trends will enable you to create captivating and effective design solutions that inspire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a small team of UX designers and champion their personal development
- Work closely with product managers and developers to drive forward UX development
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of user needs and competition
- Collaborate with UX researchers to create prototypes and test user experience
- Drive forward the development of our UX, visual design language, and working methods
Requirements:
- Relevant degree or comparable training in UX design
- Several years of operational professional experience in UX design, ideally with experience leading small design teams
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, conversion optimization, and the latest UX trends
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Fluency in English and good to very good knowledge of German
