Job Summary:

Centre People Appointments is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join their team in Dresden. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing on-site progress and ensuring smooth coordination across the area.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage day-to-day on-site progress, ensuring that tasks are completed according to plan and within the designated timeline.
  • Report regularly to the supervising Project Manager on overall site progress and any challenges encountered.
  • Summarize and highlight key issues that may arise, ensuring that relevant details are communicated promptly to facilitate timely decision-making.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure that work is being executed according to the project plan.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Assist in coordinating the integration of various departments (operations, quality, and engineering) during the commissioning phase.
  • Support the supervising Project Manager in gathering information needed for client discussions and decision-making processes.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on large-scale industrial construction projects.
  • Previous experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, or high-tech industrial construction is highly desirable.
  • Strong ability to manage daily site operations and provide clear, concise reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of contracting best practices, risk management, and construction processes.
  • Business level of English.
  • Business fluency of German is advantageous.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing relationships.
