About the Company:We are an international HR consultancy firm with a global footprint, specializing in finding top-level management talent worldwide. Our client is a leading European company in mechanical engineering, employing over 1,000 people across various subsidiaries.
About the Role:We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the expansion of our subsidiary in Japan's Yokohama region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for full P&L management, including sales, marketing, and service activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Full profit and loss (P&L) responsibility for all sales, marketing, and service activities in Japan.
- Manage, coach, and motivate local teams to achieve business objectives.
- Optimize and professionalize processes and organization to drive growth and efficiency.
- Develop and implement a sales strategy tailored to local customer needs to increase market share and revenue.
- Pursue non-automotive business opportunities while driving automotive business growth.
- Proactively manage key customers to foster strong relationships and drive sales.
- Directly report to the headquarters in Central Europe.
- University degree in engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a sales leader with documented success.
- Strong knowledge of selling machinery solutions or mechanical components to the automotive sector and other industrial segments.
- Entrepreneurial and proactive sales personality with conceptual strength and technical understanding.
- Fluent Japanese language skills and excellent communication skills in English.
- Trustworthy individual living in the greater Yokohama area.
